This is the page where the law tells us we need to put in writing that we are a trustworthy operation that won’t use and abuse your personal data. When you access our site, you can do so without any disclosure of your personal information. The only time your personal data is collected is when you willingly provide it to us. Specifically, your information may be collected when you:

The Everyday Explorist is committed to protecting any personal information you provide. This is not a shadow operation to obtain your personal info to sell on the dark web. As such, we will not sell, trade, or rent your personal identifiable information to other parties. We may share limited information with partners who assist us with website operations, (such as web hosting and email marketing services) so long as that information is kept confidential. Additionally, this blog does not automatically log identifying information about people who visit this blog. The Everyday Explorist does utilize IP address information to gather statistics about site traffic, use and patterns, however this does not include any personally identifiable information. No personal identifying information is collected from third party sources. 

Protection of Children’s Privacy

The Everyday Explorist Blog does not knowingly target any person under the age of 18.  In addition, we do not knowingly seek, collect, or store information from any known person under the age of 18. If you believe we have unknowingly captured the personal data of any person under the age of 18, please contact us at theeverydayexplorist@gmail.com for prompt removal.  

If anyone under the age of 18 is reading this page, please do not use, provide, click through, opt in, or use any of the public comment functions to share any personal information. This would include information on your name, location, email address, screenname, address, and social media links.  We like kids, but don’t court them and really don’t want to deal with angry parents.

Similar to most websites, our website utilizes a standard technology called “cookies.I really wish this section was about tasty, delicious cookies, but sadly it’s not. The cookies we’re referencing are tiny files that a site stores through your web browser that allows the site to keep and retain certain information about how our site is used. Cookies help us compile site traffic and interaction information to continually improve what we do here. The protection of your information is important to us. Ok, so we’re not security experts, but we do use reasonable measures to ensure the safety of your data. We limit the personal information we request and utilize regular malware scanning to protect the information provided to us. In addition, we try not to partner with shady third-party operators. The interwebs are complicated however, so this is our disclaimer that we can’t 100% guarantee security against technological hackers, viruses, or other online criminal jackasses

The Everyday Explorist Privacy Policy applies only to our blog and does not cover any third parties we partner with. We assume no liability for the practices of these sites. Your personal information will be collected if you purchase a service or product from us. This may include your name, email address and billing and payment information.
